This session is delivered by Simona D’Oca, Head of Sustainability of JLL Italy.

Arch. Simona D’Oca holds a Ph.D. in Technology Innovation for the Built Environment, obtained from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley, CA) and the Department of Energy, Polytechnic of Turin. She has 12 years’ expertise on technology innovation and sustainability consultancy, including human-building interaction, human well-being and indoor environmental quality, demand-response and smart grids, building automation and controls, plug-and-play prefabricated renovations, smart metering and energy visualization, user-centric customer approaches considering societal needs and impacts for disruptive innovation, blockchain-based mechanisms for peer-to-peer energy markets and energy communities. At JLL she is responsible for the Sustainability area within Project and Development Service Business Unit, my main role is to identify opportunities and provide guidance on Net Zero Carbon Audits, CRREM Analysis, LCA Assessments for operational and embodied carbon, ESG Due Diligence activities, EU Taxonomy Alignment (including SFDR / NFRD / CSRD), climate and transitional risks, and International Sustainability certifications (such as LEED, BREEAM) for investor and corporate clients.
